Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst with 4–8 years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing, Distribution and Factory Certification/inspection domain, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, statistical analysis, and Python scripting, along with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders and teams across Europe and the US, requiring excellent communication skills and awareness of international data regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations for business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Write efficient Python scripts for data cleaning, transformation, and correlation analysis.
- Design and implement robust data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) by understanding various data inputs from different datasources.
- Work with manufacturing datasets (production, Factories, Product Lines, Certifications, Qualifications, Sales, quality metrics) to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders (Europe & US) to gather requirements and deliver insights.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across multiple data sources.
- Adhere to data privacy, security, and compliance standards, especially for European data.
- Support and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Having good understanding of Data Factory patterns and strong analytical mindset to play with large datasets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong expertise in data modeling.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) for advanced analytics and correlation analysis.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, SAP, Structured and Unstructured Databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Solid understanding of data governance and privacy principles for Europe, China and other major Global locations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with global teams.
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Exposure to:
- Data Lake architectures
- Databricks
- Snowflake
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Basic knowledge of machine learning / predictive analytics.
- Awareness of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other European data protection laws.
