Engineer Roles, Required Experience, and Education:
  • Integration and Field Support:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
    • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience (can be substituted with a Master's degree).
    • Activities: Integrates system modules and components, develops documentation, executes tests and inspections, supports deployment, provides technical support, troubleshoots complex issues, oversees integration activities.
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate complex information into clear instructions and reports (written and graphical).
  • Design and Development:
    • Education: Master's degree in Engineering or Physics (preferred).
    • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience (can be substituted with a PhD).
    • Activities: Supports team in module design and development, provides design and procedure support (product improvement), assists with R&D prototype builds, testing, and evaluation, develops test strategies and plans, executes testing and analyses data, identifies metrology/performance gaps and leads improvement efforts.
    • Technical Skills: Understanding of large complex system integration, optics, and system controls. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, optical, and control subsystems. Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and drawings. Ability to set up and use test and analytical equipment for optics, lasers, and plasma research. Ability to translate knowledge into technical instructions and procedures. Ability to translate design and test requirements into test plans.
    • Data Analysis: Ability to statistically analyze data and create concise summaries for presentations. Ability to develop or use analytical tools for time-domain and frequency-domain analyses.
  • System Engineering:
    • Education: PhD in Engineering or Physics (preferred).
    • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience with a demonstrated ability to lead complex system design projects.
    • Activities: Responsible for overall system architecture, oversees system design (mechanics, dynamics, layout, thermal, etc.), creates feasibility test definitions, product reports, and specifications, prepares technical input for key program decisions, manages system engineering deliverables, manages optimal functional integration of subsystems.
    • Project Management: Ability to define and execute tasks with minimal supervision, plan activities according to project schedules.
Additional Skills:
  • Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a diverse team.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and interest in innovative technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions, while also collaborating effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to identify potential issues and propose solutions to managers.
As an EUV source functional engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in tackling the tin debris challenge and ensuring the smooth operation of these critical systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions that keep EUV lithography at the forefront of technological advancement, paving the way for the next generation of miniaturized electronics.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our company adheres to U.S. export control laws governing the export and re-export of goods and technology, compliance with 15 CFR Part 730, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
