8D Moderator
Responsibilities
• Guide the Process - Lead the team through each step of the 8D method.
• Team Coordination - Bring the right people together and assign tasks.
• Define the Problem - Help the team clearly understand and describe the issue.
• Analyse the Cause - Assist in finding and confirming the root cause using tools like "5 Whys" or fish bone diagrams.
• Plan Solutions - Ensure the team develops practical and effective solutions.
• Track Progress - Monitor the implementation of temporary and permanent solutions.
• Verify Results - Check if the solutions have fully resolved the problem.
• Document Everything - Record the findings and outcomes in an 8D report in Senvion official template.
• Resolve Conflicts - Keep the team focused and manage disagreements.
• Encourage Improvements - Use lessons learned to improve processes and prevent future issues.
• Support and Teach - Help the team understand the 8D process and tools.
Qualification
- 8-10 years of experience in facilitating problem-solving tools such as 8D methodology and DMAIC framework.
- Strong communication, and good documentation skills are must.
