Senior Technical Project Manager (AI)

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple concurrent AI projects, from initial planning and development through testing, deployment, and ongoing support. You will coordinate cross-functional teams comprising AI/ML engineers, data engineers, backend and React frontend developers, QA specialists, cybersecurity experts, and UI/UX designers. Translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications and actionable project plans will be a core responsibility, alongside rigorous risk management, progress monitoring, and governance reporting. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure AI initiatives align with broader business objectives and operational priorities, while championing best practices in software development, security compliance, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and data-driven projects, overseeing planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
• Manage multiple concurrent AI initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and align cross-functional teams including AI/ML engineers, data engineers, backend and React frontend developers, QA, cybersecurity, and UI/UX designers.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, project plans, and development roadmaps.
• Monitor project progress, proactively manage risks, and enforce robust project governance and reporting mechanisms.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align AI solutions with strategic business objectives and operational needs.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development lifecycle, security compliance, quality assurance, and agile methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and team collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–12 years of experience in software development or technical project management, with a proven track record managing AI/ML or data-driven projects.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI (LLMs), machine learning frameworks, and AI solution architectures.
• Knowledge of data engineering pipelines, modern data platforms, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP preferred).
• Familiarity with React-based frontend architecture, APIs, UI/UX design principles, QA/testing frameworks, and cybersecurity practices.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience managing distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are a strong advantage.
