(Sr.) SQA Automation Engineer (Python)- Hsinchu

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in Windows and Linux desktop application testing, including both manual and automated testing. This role involves close collaboration with global teams and continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Windows and Linux desktop applications.
- Perform manual testing for functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory scenarios.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, C#, and Shell scripting.
- Implement automation frameworks for desktop UI testing using tools such as FlaUI, Robot Framework, and NUnit.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies including Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to align QA activities with development cycles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- (Plus) Support dashboard creation for ticket management and reporting.
- (Plus) Perform API testing when applicable.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software testing and QA processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with international team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Coding skills in Python, C#, and Shell scripting for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with desktop automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Bitbucket/Git).
- Experience with Jira for defect tracking and Bamboo for build/deployment.
