As an HR Business Partner Plus+, you will be the driving force behind our HR strategy and talent acquisition efforts. Working closely with management and team leaders, you’ll develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience and employer branding. Additionally, you’ll serve as a Management Assistant, playing a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the company to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
Responsibilities
1. HR Business Partner
1.1 HR Strategy & Policy
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with company goals.
- Advise management on HR trends and legal updates, translating them into practical strategies.
- Design internal procedures that foster transparency and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Create and execute innovative recruitment campaigns.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding:
- Collaborate on job descriptions with management
- Source, interview, and select candidates across departments
- Manage recruitment platforms and external partners
- Organize job fairs and events
- Oversee and enhance the onboarding process
HR Administration & Compensation
- Oversee all personnel administration, including contracts, payroll, vacation tracking, timekeeping, and absences.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and manage fringe benefit plans.
- Coordinate tax advantages and cafeteria plans.
Training & Talent Development
- Launch and manage development programs to foster continuous learning.
- Implement performance management systems that support feedback and growth culture.
Employer Branding & Well-being
- Act as the first point of contact for employee-related queries.
- Develop initiatives that boost employer branding, including internal events and social projects.
- Support well-being initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
2. Management Assistant (Plus+)
Administrative Support
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare reports and presentations.
- Take minutes during meetings and manage documentation.
- Assist with budgeting and invoicing.
- Coordinate office supplies and vendor relationships.
- Manage post, packages, and general office facilities.
- Handle phone reception and monitor the general email inbox.
Employee Support
- Provide personal attention to employees (e.g., birthdays, milestones).
- Support onboarding and staff administration (leave requests, reimbursements, timesheets).
Event & Travel Organization
- Organize team-building and client events.
- Arrange travel and accommodation for business trips.
Additional Support Tasks
- Insurance: Monitor active policies and ensure proper follow-up.
- Marketing Support: Assist with marketing-related orders and follow-ups.
- IT Coordination: Serve as liaison for IT issues and suppliers, ensuring swift resolution of technical problems.
- Compliance & Policy: Help draft internal policies and ensure correct documentation and policy adherence.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR role with a strong focus on recruitment and talent management.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HRM, Psychology, Business Management, or equivalent.
Languages
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, with a strong command of formal and informal business communication.
- Comfortable with administrative and legal terminology.
- Able to switch between tones of voice: from casual emails to well-crafted board-level correspondence.
- Sensitive to language nuances (e.g., “must” vs. “may”).
- Experienced in translating company values into clear, effective messaging.
Skills
- Proactive, empathetic, and people-oriented.
- Strategic and analytical thinking regarding HR processes.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment and sourcing strategies.
- Excellent people management and employer branding skills.
- Familiarity with HR tools and software is a plus.
- Highly organized, precise, and discreet.
