Java-based Embedded User Interface Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Java-based Embedded User Interface Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces for embedded systems using Java technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and efficient user experiences for our products.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop user interfaces for embedded systems using Java, JavaFX, or similar technologies.
2. Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate user interfaces with embedded systems.
3. Implement graphical user interfaces (GUIs) that are responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
4. Optimize UI performance for embedded platforms with limited resources, such as memory and processing power.
5. Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve the user interface design.
6. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into UI designs.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in embedded UI development.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
2. 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Java-based UI development for embedded systems.
3. Proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with UI frameworks such as JavaFX, Swing, or AWT.
4. Experience with embedded software development tools and environments.
5. Knowledge of software design patterns, UI/UX design principles, and usability standards.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
